This is a suit to recover damages for the malicious prosecution of a civil action.

On September 28, 1976, defendant herein, Carson Attaway, filed suit in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, naming as defendants the Sheriff and seven Deputy Sheriffs of Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.
