TATE, Justice.

The defendant was convicted of first degree murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment. La.R.S. 14:30 (1976); La.C. Cr.P. arts. 905-905.9. On appeal defendant relies on eight assignments of error.

Assignments of Error Nos. 3 and 7 present serious issues which concern (a) the admission of evidence concerning other crimes allegedly committed by the defendant and (b) legal insanity. We find no reversible merit to them or to the remaining assignments...
