Minnie Smith, widow of W. H. Sledge, executed her last will and testament on January 8, 1957. Her will created a spendthrift trust in which she bequeathed her farm consisting of 640 acres in Vermilion Parish, together with its improvements, to C. H. Brookshire as trustee. The will stipulated the trustee was to hold the property in trust for her grandchildren who survived her and until her youngest grandchild attained the age of twenty-one....
