Plaintiff, a guest passenger in an automobile being driven by her Grandfather, was injured when her host's automobile crossed the center line of Louisiana Highway 1205 and ran head-on into an oncoming vehicle. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (State Farm) insured both vehicles involved in the collision. Following trial the district court rendered a general damage award in favor of plaintiff and against State Farm for the sum of $86,500...
