YEAGLEY, Associate Judge:

A jury found appellant guilty of one count of robbery (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2901) and the court sentenced him to a term of 5 to 15 years' imprisonment. On appeal he urges two grounds for reversal of his conviction. First, he asserts that reversible error was committed by the trial court when it forbade defense counsel from asking him during direct examination whether he felt he had been harassed by the police.
