This is a suit for rescission of a sale and damages due to a redhibitory defect present in an automobile.

James Moran, Jr., appellee, purchased a Volkswagen Dasher automobile from Willard E. Robertson Corporation on May 13, 1974. Volkswagen of America, appellant, was the importer of the vehicle. Approximately 35 days after the purchase, appellee was driving the vehicle when it made a loud noise and broke down, apparently due to transmission...
