Everett Lee Banks and John Edmond were charged in the same information with armed robbery in violation of La.R.S. 14:64. Defendants waived trial by jury and elected to be tried by the court. After a bench trial, each defendant was found guilty of simple robbery. Everett Lee Banks was sentenced to serve four years at hard labor. John Edmond was sentenced to serve five years at hard labor.
