The questions presented for decision in this case are: whether Louisiana Civil Code Article 160, which allows a court to grant a divorced wife alimony, denies equal protection of the law in contravention of the federal and state constitutions; and whether the court of appeal properly revoked an alimony award as having become unnecessary.
