FOGLEMAN, Justice.

On a charge of murder in the first degree, appellant was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years' imprisonment. The verdict was largely dependent upon the testimony of one Larry Thompson, a nurse's assistant employed by the Veteran's Administration. When accorded the right of allocution immediately after the verdict was accepted and the jury discharged, appellant advised the trial judge that during the jury deliberations on the preceding day, one...
