The only remaining defendant in this lawsuit, Masonite Corporation, has appealed from a judgment in favor of the plaintiff partnership, Fleur de Leis Apartments, resulting from certain defects in hardboard siding manufactured by Masonite. The jury concluded that Masonite had breached both its implied warranty of fitness and a specific guarantee of its product. The $45,000 awarded was the cost of repainting...
