The defendant, Rodger Aldridge, was convicted by jury of unlawful possession of more than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 56 1/2, par. 704(e)), and unlawful manufacture of more than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 56 1/2, par. 705(e)). He was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 1 to 5...
