CONNOR, Justice.

This appeal concerns impeachment of a defendant's testimony by evidence of a prior felony conviction.

Jon Edward Lowell, whose apparent true name is Raymond Daniel McClusky, was convicted on a jury verdict finding him guilty of two counts of embezzlement. Lowell was the trainee manager of a movie theater in Ketchikan. His duties included making night deposits of theater receipts at a bank. On two occasions in December 1974...
