Johnny G. McIntyre was indicted by the Webster Parish Grand Jury for aggravated rape in violation of La.R.S. 14:42. At arraignment, defendant entered a plea of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity to the indictment. After trial by jury, defendant was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
