On January 18, 1978, the United States, acting for the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), obtained an ex parte warrant of seizure from the Clerk of this Court, directing the seizure of quantities of several different types of children's sleepwear which were treated with a substance commonly known as TRIS.
