DIXON, Justice.

On November 11, 1976 defendant was charged by bill of information with possession of heroin with intent to distribute.

After trial by jury, defendant was found guilty of possession of heroin. He was sentenced as a multiple offender to serve twelve years imprisonment at hard labor. Two assignments of error are presented on appeal.
