Charles Unger, III was indicted for the first degree murder of Anthony Pillittere (R.S. 14:30). After a jury trial, defendant was found guilty as charged. The jury recommended life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence, and the judge sentenced him accordingly.
