Appellant Charles Carmichael, while a minor, suffered injuries in an automobile accident, as a result of which he became a quadriplegic. He received a settlement upon an insurance claim arising from these injuries. His father, Levi Carmichael, was appointed as his guardian on April 30, 1974.
