John Leslie Head, Jr., was convicted by a jury of conspiracy to unlawfully import marijuana in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 952(a), 960, and 963. His appeal raises three procedural issues. First, the conduct of the Assistant United States Attorney, in preventing the transcription of grand jury testimony by two prosecution witnesses with the intention of not creating statements producible under the Jencks Act, 18 U.S.C. § 3500...
