Town North National Bank, hereinafter referred to as the Bank, brought suit against Larry Broaddus, Terrell C. Taylor, and Charles W. Curtis, seeking to recover on a promissory note. Curtis was subsequently dismissed without prejudice because he was a defendant in bankruptcy proceedings. The trial court thereafter granted the Bank a summary judgment against Broaddus and Taylor.
