The McGuires and Prossers recovered substantial judgments in separate actions filed against the Wheatland Irrigation District to recover damages for injuries to lands and personal property belonging to the two families, which injuries occurred when the dam of a reservoir owned by defendant gave way, resulting in the flooding of plaintiffs' lands.
