Harry Trahan, an employee of Evangeline Refinery Company, Inc. (Evangeline) was injured in an explosion which occurred on Evangeline's premises on May 12, 1974. He expired a few days later as a consequence thereof.

The plaintiffs-appellants are Mr. Trahan's widow and major children and they filed this suit in tort for the wrongful death of Mr. Trahan against: Evangeline Refinery Company, Inc. and its liability insurer, Reliance Insurance...
