E. J. Dugas sued Dudley Broussard for the balance of an alleged $4,000.00 cash loan made to Broussard. Broussard denied the existence of the loan, and reconvened for reimbursement of the sum of $2,000.00, alleging that Dugas used coercion, harassment, and duress in obtaining the acknowledgement and partial payment of the "debt" in the said amount of $2,000.00. The district judge rejected Dugas' claim and awarded Broussard his reconventional demand...
