Appellant was convicted of grand larceny and the Court sentenced him to seven years imprisonment in the penitentiary. Prior to arraignment it was ascertained that appellant was without counsel to represent him and desired the services of an attorney. Thereupon the Court appointed an experienced trial lawyer to represent him at arraignment and trial. He went to trial under a plea of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity.
