This is an action for monetary damages for deprivation of the plaintiff's civil rights. She claimed that she suffered serious damage to her eyesight from the use by the defendants Messrs. Rowland and Mathias upon her person, while she was in custody after an arrest, of unreasonable force, and that they failed to provide her with timely medical attention when she was in obvious need thereof.
