We are called upon to decide the constitutionality of certain provisions of Act No. 24 of May 22, 1975 (16 LPRA 2089) of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. This statute is an amendment to the Commonwealth's Electoral Code (16 LPRA 2001 et seq.).
