The consolidated cases, one a petition for writ of mandamus and three direct appeals, all relate to pre-trial discovery orders entered by the district court. Petitioner and appellant, Arthur Andersen & Co., objected to the production of certain documents on the ground that production would violate the non-disclosure laws of Switzerland.
