Swofford, Jr. was convicted by a jury in the Eastern District of Missouri on one count of conspiracy to conduct an illegal gambling operation in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371 and on one count of conducting such an operation in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1955 and 2. He was sentenced to four years for each count, the sentences to be served concurrently...
