Defendant-appellant was convicted in district court of aiding and abetting the taking "by force and violence, or by intimidation," 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 2113(a), and the taking and carrying away "with intent to steal or purloin," 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 2113(b), certain monies from a federally-insured bank. He was fined $3,000 and, subject to 18 U.S.C. § 4208(a)(2) modification, sentenced to three years' imprisonment on the section...
