On June 28, 1974 the Grand Jury of Bienville Parish charged Bobby Ray Sneed, Eugene Wright and Arthur Gardner with the first degree murder of Curtis E. Jones on June 13, 1974. A change of venue was granted to Claiborne Parish where the accused were tried and found guilty of second degree murder. They were each sentenced on April 24, 1975 to life imprisonment at hard labor, not eligible for parole, probation or suspension of sentence for a period...
