HEFFERNAN, J.

This is an appeal by the defendants and third-party plaintiffs, Carl H. Wenzel and Mutual Service Casualty Insurance Company, from a judgment dismissing their third-party complaint against the third-party defendant, Chris Hartwig. We reverse and hold that the settlement of a prior action between the parties to that action did not bar a claim for contribution in this action.
