This case raises the question of whether a husband's recovery during marriage of personal injury damages resulting from a premarital accident is his separate property. Dudley Broussard asserted a claim under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C. 688, for an injury he received on October 20, 1967. While the matter was pending he and Aljane Domingue were married on July 4, 1969.
