Oscar Dovalina and Rodolfo Soliz were convicted of distributing twenty-four grams of cocaine to a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) undercover agent in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1).1 At their jury trial, Dovalina testified that he had received the cocaine in question from the same Government informer who had helped to arrange the sale.
