The appellant, Judy Mae Barnett, was indicted in June, 1975. The indictment charged her with murder in the first degree. Upon the filing of the indictment bail was fixed by the circuit judge at $20,000 on June 11, 1975. The appellant's appearance bond was approved by the sheriff on June 14,1975, and she was released from the county jail. The district attorney filed a motion on June 26, 1975, to raise the bond from $20,000...
