This is a suit by one co-maker who had paid a promissory note against another co-maker for the latter's virile share. The court gave judgment as prayed for and the defendant has appealed.

Defendant specified as errors that the trial court failed to apply: the rule of equitable estoppel; the principle of offset or compensation; and the principle of unjust enrichment. He relies "solely on Louisiana Civil Code Article 21 on equity jurisdiction...
