This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of murder with malice. The jury assessed punishment at life.

Among other things, the sufficiency of the evidence to corroborate an alleged accomplice witness is challenged. On December 14, 1973, Wilma McCage, who resided just across the street from Tietze Park in Dallas, reported to police that she heard a loud noise that sounded like a shot between 12:15 a. m. and 12:20...
