Defendant, Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, appeals from a judgment awarding plaintiff damages for injuries sustained when a truck tire, mounted on a defective rim by a Firestone employee, exploded. The explosion occurred after the tire had been mounted on the truck and while it was being inflated by plaintiff.
