Appellant joined the Air Force Reserve in June, 1968, under the provisions of the Armed Forces Physicians' Appointment and Residency Consideration Program, commonly known as the "Berry Plan." Under this plan he was permitted to pursue specialized medical training and to complete his residency, as an inactive unattached reservist, upon the agreement that he thereafter serve two years of active military duty, practicing the specialty...
