This is a suit under the Fair Labor Standards Act, 29 U.S.C. § 201 et seq., by one claiming to be an employee, seeking to recover wages, overtime pay and liquidated damages.1 The case was tried to the court, which found for the defendants on the sole ground that the plaintiff was not an employee but an independent contractor.
