G. J. Deville Lumber Company, Inc., instituted this suit to recover the balance of $2,429.91 due under a contract, pursuant to which it constructed a home for defendant, Ronald Edwin Chatelain. Defendant answered alleging generally that there were defects in the construction, that the cost of correcting them should be set-off against the amount claimed, and that plaintiff's suit should be dismissed.
