Appellant, Lawrence Triplett, a Philadelphia police officer, was tried by a judge sitting without a jury and found guilty of burglary, larceny and receiving stolen goods. Post-trial motions were denied and appellant was sentenced to a term of one and one-half to five years in a state correctional institution.
