FEATHERSTON, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency of $3,131.89 in petitioner's Federal income tax for 1970 together with an addition of $156.59 to the tax under section 6653(a).1 Certain concessions have been made by both parties. The issues remaining for decision are:
