Mr. JUSTICE JOHNSON delivered the opinion of the court:

Plaintiff was injured as a result of the alleged negligence of the defendants in the operation of their taxicab. A jury trial was held and, at the close of plaintiff's evidence, the court granted a motion for a directed verdict on behalf of the defendants. Judgment was entered on the verdict and this appeal was taken therefrom.
