Plaintiffs-appellants represent four members of a class of homeowners residing in Eufaula, Alabama, who were allegedly victimized by a home improvements contractor, William Bell, who contracted with them in 1968 to make certain repairs and additions to their dwellings, in exchange for a promissory note secured by a mortgage on plaintiffs' real property.
