The District Attorney appeals from three orders which dismissed the indictments against these defendants in the "interest of justice" (CPL § 210.20, subd 1, par [i], § 210.40). At the time of the crimes charged, defendants were police officers of the Niagara Falls Police Department and assigned to a confidential unit engaged in undercover work....
