OPINION

HERNANDEZ, Judge.

This action was tried in the District Court, without a jury, on plaintiffs' amended complaint alleging: 1) rescission and praying return of their $1,000.00, down payment toward the purchase of a mobile home, and 2) statutory damages as provided by 15 U.S.C. § 1640(a), of the Federal Truth in Lending Act. The trial court found that there had been a novation and the plaintiffs had been given a $1,000.00 credit toward the purchase...
