Appellant appeals from his conviction by a jury on a charge of armed bank robbery, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a) (1970). Proofs of guilt tendered at trial included eyewitness identification of the defendants by persons in the bank at the time of the robbery and testimony by two witnesses that Sims was in possession of First National City Bank of New York travelers checks (which had been part of the loot taken from the bank) immediately after...
