Appellant, indicted on a charge of possession of stolen mail in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1708 (1970), was found not guilty by reason of insanity by Senior District Court Judge Leonard P. Walsh, who ordered Battle committed to St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
