Appellant was charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of Charles Perry. D.C.Code 1973, § 22-2403. A jury found him guilty. At sentencing, he was committed to the custody of the Attorney General "for treatment and supervision" under § 5010(b) of the Youth Corrections Act. 18 U.S.C. § 5010(b) (1970).
