This is a workmen's compensation suit instituted by Freemont Launey, Jr., against his employer Lawton Forest Products, Inc. and its insurer, Cottonbelt Insurance Company. Judgment was rendered in the trial court in favor of the plaintiff and against defendants for total and permanent disability at the rate of $49.00 per week for 500 weeks from the date of injury, plus legal interest from date of demand, less benefits already paid by defendants to...
