Plaintiffs, former employees of Barkley Contracting Company, a subcontractor, appeal from a judgment entered by the Circuit Court of St. Louis City in their favor for $3074.51 against defendant United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company (hereinafter referred to as USFG). In their amended petition plaintiffs had also sought attorney's fees and a penal amount for vexatious delay. But counsel for plaintiffs, who was not trial counsel, candidly admits...
